I know that many of us associate older women with hobbies like cooking and reading, but what about hobbies like looking after grandkids or elderly parents? These can be just as much fun if we approach them with a positive attitude. And of course, there are also plenty of outdoor hobbies like exploring parks, festivals, and traveling. I’m a train enthusiast myself and take any opportunity I can to jump on a train and experience something new.
And speaking of experiences, that’s one way to think about hobbies – not just things you create, but experiences you have. For example, stand up paddling or triathlons. And then there are more subdued hobbies like flower arranging, card making, and scrapbooking. I love scrapbooking and paper crafting, especially with mandalas and scrap painting. And let’s not forget about painting! From classic paintings to the crazy and unique, like scrap painting.
